The main aim of Developmental Psychology master program is to give an in-depth information about human development and study development from conception to death. Consequently child psychopathology can be understood as normal development gone awry.  The field of child psychopathology is vibrant and exciting in part because of all that has been learned recently about many of the disorders that are considered forms of child psychopathology. The main goal of this course is to describe the various forms of preventative and therapeutic interventions that are currently used with each disorder. These objectives will be achieved by covering current interventions along with the theories and research that support Developmental Psychopathology. The students will be asked to highlight and to prepare reports on the important role that a child’s family plays in the life of a child including the brain functioning and the social functioning of these children.
